Oracle OpenWorld
October 11-15, 2009
On October 11–15, 2009, Oracle OpenWorld returns to San Francisco, along with more than 40,000 of the world’s most important information technology developers and users. Officially, it takes place at San Francisco’s Moscone Center. But really it happens throughout the city—in the hotels, restaurants, clubs, and open spaces—anywhere people can meet to discuss the latest trends, hottest technology, and furthest-reaching ideas. An entire block of Howard Street is dominated by one of the world’s largest tents.
This year, participants will attend more than 1,800 sessions on every facet of developing, deploying, servicing, and applying today’s advanced information technology products and solutions. Hundreds of Oracle partners will showcase their products in the exhibition halls, and Oracle experts will demo the latest business applications. Top industry leaders, including Oracle CEO Larry Ellison and Oracle President Charles Phillips, will deliver keynotes on the future of business and technology.
